Common: Common Ragweed, Giant Ragweed

Scientific: Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Ambrosia trifida

Identification:

Common - This annual broafleaf can grow to 4 feet in height. The stems and leaves area blue-green color and the leaves are deeply lobed with rounded tips.Small hairs cover the underside of the leaf, resulting in a gray appearance.

Giant - Thepurple seedling has large round cotyledons. It also is a tall erectannual with opposite leaves that are lobed and attached to the stemwith a long petioles.

Geographical

Geographical Geographical Distribution: Common throughout the United States. It is often found in waste areas and along ditches.
