Mustang Max® on Soybeans
Mustang Max® insecticide makes protecting soybean yields easier.
It's getting tougher to keep your soybean yields
on the upside. Rust, insects, weather -- everything seems to be against
you. FMC understands and we're here to help maximize your soybean yields with Mustang Max ® insecticide.
Mustang Max is an enhanced pyrethroid formula. No pyrethroid is better.
Through a special process, we have fortified the chemical's most active
isomers. That's why Mustang Max is a maximum performing insecticide
with maximum results. Fast acting and long lasting.
It's an outstanding management tool for a broad range of soybean insect
problems. You can count on Mustang Max to put an end to whatever tries
to bite, chew or suck a penny out of your soybean yields. See the
results yourself: Photos or Performance Data.

And because Mustang Max tank mixes with nearly anything (post
herbicides such as Roundup®, nutrients or fungicides such as
Headline®), you can add it to your plant protection program to get rid
of those tough bugs, while controlling weeds or protecting against
diseases. That way, you can reduce the number of trips across your
fields.
Timing:
The key is not to give pests a chance to affect your yields. Plant
protection is important. Get them early and prevent them from becoming
a problem. Insect pressure does not always mean a particular pest has
reached an economic threshold before you act. Multiple pests in the
aggregate can cause threshold impact. Mustang Max has extended residual activity providing more days of control. So you can use it earlier knowing it will last longer.
For your soybeans, the optimum window is during the vegetative stages
when you can apply Mustang Max and a postemergence herbicide such as
Roundup in combination for early-season control of both your insects
and weeds. If you are fighting plant diseases such as rust during the
reproductive stages of the plant's development, Mustang Max can be tank
mixed with a fungicide such as Headline for mid-season insect and
disease control.
Mode of Action:
Absorbed by the insect cuticle, through the spiracles, or by ingestion,
causes knockdown and paralysis, nerve poison on the peripheral and
central nervous system of the insect.

Applied:
Can be applied by ground or air with many approaches: at plant, preemergence or postemergence.
Tank-Mix Partners:
Its unique formulation makes Mustang Max easy to
tank mix, and reduces susceptibility to variables like water hardness,
temperature, pH and tank residues. This formulation also has
flexibility with fertilizer tank mixes and cold temperature storage.
Mustang Max may be applied in tank mixtures with many post herbicides
such as Roundup and many fungicides such as Headline. Observe all
restrictions and precautions which appear on the labels of these
products. Test compatibility before mixing.
